CATEGORIES:

Bra Art (Blank Canvas): Each artist takes a basic bra and turns it into a work of art. This does not need to be wearable art. We want you to take the concept of the bra, breast health, and the Phoenixville Community to create something unique and beautiful to view.

Artist’s Choice: This is an open-ended option for artists who are inspired by the theme of our event, but want to use their own medium to create a piece of art.

RULES:

• Each artist or artistic group creates one art piece.
• Art must be able to be displayed live at the event in a gallery style exhibit.
• Must be able to provide a representation in pictures by October 9, 2024.
• Art must be in “good taste.”
• Names, advertising, logos, slogans or photos may be included.
• When designing and producing your art, please consider that the piece will need to be transported and set-up the day of the event.
• An Uplifting Event Committee has “final say” on all rules in question.
• Be creative and enjoy yourself while creating your art!

PRIZE CATEGORIES:

An Uplifting Event Part II is a fundraiser to support Health Care Access. The event is meant to emphasize the importance of breast health awareness as well as celebrate the community we serve through art. While the event is to raise awareness specifically for breast health and the Health Care Access Mammogram Program, funds will be raised to support all Health Care Access programs.
